We come forth as a single sentient being,

and we turn to dust the same way.

Why are we programmed to yearn for more,

for another’s touch?

The wonder,

the malevolent might of our thoughts.

A single person can cause untold wonder,

or untold destruction.

Just the thoughts of a single man.

Why seek out another?

Surely such powerful creations are not meant to exist side by side…
